Biography

Brad A. Wachler serves as a Practice Group Leader for the Education/Sports Advisory & Consulting practice group. Brad uses more than 20 years of experience in collegiate athletics to lead Lewis Rice’s Education & Sports Law Practice Group. He specializes in reviews, external investigations, and strategic planning that help intercollegiate athletic departments align with institutional goals and meet the needs of today’s student-athletes, fans, alumni, donors, and all other constituent groups.

Brad also guides universities through the divisional reclassification process; advises on measures to reduce risk and promote a more diverse, equitable, inclusive, and supportive environment; and helps ensure compliance with Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) laws at the local, state, and federal levels.

In addition to serving institutions throughout all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA, Brad is a trusted advisor for athletic conference offices, student-athletes, and businesses.
