Biography
Christian T. Gordon is a leader of the Environmental Compliance Practice Group at Lewis Rice. He counsels clients on the environmental aspects of real estate and corporate transactions and on regulatory compliance. Christian has experience in real estate development, including environmental due diligence, land acquisition, construction contracts and leasing, and negotiating the environmental terms of acquisition agreements. He has managed the legal aspects of a brownfield project and several Energy Assurance Leases, dealt with federal and state agencies on compliance and enforcement issues, and handled environmental litigation on behalf of clients.
Christian also counsels clients navigating the complexities of federal, state, and local government contracts. He has experience working government contract issues at multiple Air Force bases, an LL.M. from George Washington University Law School in Government Procurement, and has taken several DOD offered and facilitated government contract courses. Using that experience and depth of knowledge, Christian advises clients across a wide range of industries, helping them successfully compete for, secure, and perform government contracts at all levels.
Prior to joining Lewis Rice, Christian served as an attorney in the legal arm of the United States Air Force, the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG Corps), for more than 10 years. In 2021 he earned his Master of Laws in Government Procurement and Environmental Law from the George Washington University Law School after being competitively selected as one of five Air Force JAGs to participate in the program.
