Lewis Rice Names Kelly M. Gorman and Justin M. Ladendorf Members of the Firm

Lewis Rice is pleased to share that Kelly M. Gorman and Justin M. Ladendorf have been promoted to members of the firm.

Kelly joined Lewis Rice as a summer associate in 2014 shortly before graduating from the University of Missouri School of Law. She practices in Lewis Rice’s Pension & Employee Benefits, Health Care, and Corporate departments. Her peers have selected her for inclusion in Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” for the last three years.

Justin practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Labor & Employment, and Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Workouts departments. He also started his career with Lewis Rice as a summer associate in 2013 and 2014 before graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law. Active in his community, Justin serves on Aim High St. Louis’ Board of Directors.

In her employee benefits practice, Kelly assists clients with qualified retirement, welfare benefit, fringe benefit and executive compensation plans. She also advises health care clients — including insurers, managed care organizations and providers — on a variety of matters such as acquisitions, joint ventures and managed care contracting. Additionally, Kelly provides counsel on acquisitions, strategic alliances, regulatory compliance, operational issues and more in her insurance practice.

Justin prosecutes cases on behalf of commercial landlords, equipment lessors, service providers and other creditors seeking to regain possession of their property and recover money owed to them. He also represents employees in matters related to human resources, including pre-employment screening practices, leave and accommodation issues and termination decisions. Justin has extensive experience defending other clients in disputes involving breach of contract, fraud and statutory claims.
