Apollo Carey Selected for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD’s) 2021 Fellows Program

Lewis Rice is pleased to announce that Apollo Carey has been selected for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity's (LCLD's) 2021 Fellows Program. Fellows are provided with various development opportunities and leadership training by means of class meetings, accountability partners, online learning, and a regional event, among others. LCLD Member law firms may select one Fellow per year. The selected Fellow will be "diverse, high-potential, and mid-career attorneys," with a minimum of eight years of practice experience and a proven commitment to his or her community and diversity & inclusion.

Apollo Carey has been practicing corporate, transactional, and regulatory law for more than a decade, providing his clients with sound legal solutions to complex problems. Apollo serves as both tax counsel and real estate/construction counsel to help protect his client's interests throughout the acquisition and development process. Additionally, he provides advice and counsel to public entities, such as cities, school districts, and other political subdivisions in the state of Missouri and Illinois. Apollo currently serves as the City Attorney for Ferguson, Missouri and as outside counsel for the Junior College District of St. Louis (St. Louis Community College). He is a valued member of the Firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
