Biography

Originally trained as a litigator, Apollo Carey has been practicing corporate, transactional, and regulatory law for over a decade providing his clients with sound legal solutions to complex problems. Apollo has the unique perspective of being a corporate attorney with a litigation background, so he excels at problem-solving and advising clients on risk-management strategies in all areas to help avoid worst-case scenarios and unnecessary cost. He routinely provides a cost/benefit analysis to his clients of any proposed legal (and non-legal) action, and his representation strategy is designed to aid his clients in meeting their objectives while maintaining the bottom line. Apollo’s clients include both public and private entities, in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Although he is very well-versed in all facets of corporate, transactional, and regulatory law, he has particular experience in real estate and tax matters due to his education and background as a former commercial real estate appraiser for 14 years.

Apollo was recognized by The National Black Lawyers Top 100 as one of the top "40 Under 40" in America and was named an "Up & Coming" attorney by Missouri Lawyers Weekly in 2014. He also serves on the Firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee as well as its Recruiting Committee.
