Biography

Co-chair of Lewis Rice's Environmental, Chemical & Toxic Tort Department, Douglas M. Nieder's practice is focused on trial preparation and litigation management as national counsel for a fabricator of custom pressure vessels in asbestos personal injury litigation. In the role of national counsel, Doug is responsible for the creation and implementation of defense strategies employed by local counsel throughout the United States and handles all aspects of discovery, including expert witness development and corporate witness depositions. He has extensive experience defending clients in the circuit courts of Madison County and St. Clair County, IL and in the city of St. Louis, MO.

Doug was selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers for 2023-2024.
