Lauren R. Carey Creates New Blog for Social Media Influencers

Lewis Rice associate Lauren R. Carey has launched a new blog called “Legally Influenced” to share legal tips, trends, and developments for social media influencers. Hosted by LexBlog, a worldwide network of more than 25,000 bloggers in the legal community, “Legally Influenced” examines topics such as social media disclosures, influencer agreements, evolving Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance for influencers, and more.

Lauren’s practice focuses on advertising, promotions, and social media, as well as general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. In her advertising, promotions, and social media practice, Lauren advises clients on legal issues related to advertising, endorsements, and consumer promotions. She regularly conducts advertising clearances for legal compliance and drafts licenses, publicity rights releases, and other related agreements.
