Biography

Jonah Lock focuses much of his practice on assisting commercial property owners with their leasing and landlord-tenant issues, including vendor litigation and tenant evictions/collections, lease reviews and related negotiations with prospective tenants, and drafting of lease amendments and addendums. Jonah also devotes a significant portion of his practice to construction law, including filing mechanic’s liens, bond claims, and all litigation matters related thereto. Jonah provides services for a myriad of clientele, including individuals, small business owners, small and large corporations, small and large property management companies, and local, regional, and national banks included in Forbes Magazine’s Top 10 Biggest Banks in America. He works tirelessly to ensure that his clients receive the personal attention to their case that they deserve, working as a team to achieve favorable results. Jonah prides himself in his ability to provide high quality legal representation in a cost-effective, not prohibitive, manner.

Outside of the office, Jonah has enjoyed coaching youth sports in the greater Kansas City area as well as teaching civil litigation to paralegals at a local college.

Prior to joining Lewis Rice, Jonah worked at Troppito Miller Griffin, LLC.
