Lewis Rice member Bridget Hoy has been selected as a 2026 “Wonder Woman” by St. Louis Small Business Monthly (SBM). Each year, SBM recognizes outstanding professionals who use their influence to help others and make a meaningful impact on the region’s culture and economy. Honorees are selected from hundreds of nominations and reflect leaders who are not only achieving personal success, but also serving and often steering organizations and causes that benefit the community.
Bridget’s path to law was shaped by an early commitment to service. After high school, she enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving more than six years, including time stationed overseas. During that period, volunteer work with children in a local orphanage abroad helped crystallize her belief that even small actions can make a meaningful difference in others’ lives, a mindset that continues to guide her professional and community involvement. Following her military service, Bridget completed her undergraduate education and pursued law school, where her curiosity for law evolved into a lasting passion for advocacy and problem solving.
Today, Bridget serves as a member of the Management Committee and Trademark Practice Group Leader at Lewis Rice, where she advises businesses on intellectual property matters and complex disputes. She approaches her work with an emphasis on impact, viewing legal practice as a way to help others move forward.
Bridget brings that same perspective to her leadership and service. She has dedicated years to the St. Louis community, including tutoring in St. Louis Public Schools, mediating for individuals in need, and supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities for nearly a decade, ultimately serving as Board Chair. As Bridget says, “No matter what else you're doing in the world, we can take a moment, be creative and help somebody out.”
