Biography

Richard W. Bailey practices in the Corporate Department of Lewis Rice where he represents businesses ranging from startups and growth-stage companies, to closely-held and family businesses, to public companies. He helps clients navigate various business and transactional matters, including structuring and formation, contractual arrangements, debt and equity financings, real estate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Richard has helped structure and complete numerous real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, financings, and Section 1031 like-kind-exchanges.

Prior to joining Lewis Rice, Richard gained practical experience leading his family’s multifamily real estate firm. Leaning on his business experience, Richard maintains a big-picture focus while proactively and efficiently addressing complex legal issues, allowing clients to focus on propelling the enterprise forward.
