Richard B. Walsh, Jr. Named Vice Chairman of the Firm
August 30, 2019Lewis Rice is pleased to announce that Richard B. “Rick” Walsh, Jr., has been named Vice Chairman of the Firm. Rick also will continue to serve as Chair of the Firm’s Litigation Department. Rick has been with Lewis Rice for his entire career, having joined the Firm in 1983 upon graduation from Washington University School of Law. Rick practices primarily in the area of complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property, antitrust and securities litigation. He counsels transactional clients concerning associated risks in commercial transactions. Rick regularly appears in federal district and appellate courts throughout the country.
Rick is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee; is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell; was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation - Antitrust for 2016, 2018, and 2020 by The Best Lawyers in America®; was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2008-2020; and was selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® 2005 and 2008-2018.
