Jeremy P. Brummond Presents at Construction Executives Bootcamp
October 3, 2024Lewis Rice member Jeremy P. Brummond recently presented at an executive bootcamp sponsored by the Missouri Consortium for Construction Innovation. The Consortium is a partnership between academia and industry aiming to optimize corporate performance and project life-cycle through an integrated construction engineering and management (CEM) vision directed at student development, research, and professional development. The bootcamp was held at the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Technical School and covered key legal topics in the construction and facilities industries.
Jeremy’s presentation addressed insurance, indemnity, and bonding, cost estimating for legal services, and navigating legal disputes that could occur on a construction project. He was joined by Islam H. El-adaway, Susan Ottmann, and Ian B.D. McIntosh, contributing to a well-rounded program that sought to equip industry executives for future challenges.
Jeremy P. Brummond serves as Practice Group Leader for the Construction Law practice group in the Litigation Department. Although his focus is on design and construction, Jeremy represents clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters. Clients include property owners, design professionals, general contractors, specialty contractors, equipment suppliers, and material suppliers. Jeremy counsels these clients in contract negotiation and drafting, and he frequently represents these clients in litigation including cases involving claimed construction and design defects, delay and lost productivity, and mechanic's lien and payment bond claims.
