Lewis Rice member Sonette T. Magnus delivered a virtual fireside chat to members of Corporate Counsel Women of Color during its 16th annual Career Strategies Conference on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Corporate Counsel Women of Color supports women of color attorneys in general and outside counsel roles and facilitates networking events to promote career advancement, success, and global diversity in the legal profession. The Career Strategies Conference virtually brings together women of color for empowering presentations on leadership, management, health and wellness, and financial strategies. Larry Turner, partner at Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia, PA, interviewed Sonette about ways to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, including retention of diverse talent and the importance of community service to one's career.
