Shevon L. Harris-Holyfield Receives 2025 Women’s Justice Award

On Thursday, April 11, 2025 Lewis Rice member Shevon L. Harris-Holyfield was selected as a 2025 Women's Justice Awards honoree in the Litigation Practitioner category. The Women’s Justice Awards recognize women across Missouri "who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession." Winners in the Litigation Practitioner category are women whose careers are made in the courtroom, whether it be civil, criminal, plaintiff or defense. The 60 honorees include judges, in-house counsel, legal scholars, and private practitioners.

Shevon, a member of the Litigation Department of Lewis Rice, concentrates her practice in the area of juvenile law within the 11th, 21st and 22nd Judicial Circuit Courts. As a contract Guardian Ad Litem, Shevon passionately represents and advocates for abused and neglected children. Shevon’s impactful contributions extend globally, having been a keynote speaker at the Power Women Summits in Monaco and Vatican City. This led to her invitation to join the Advisory Board for the Institute for Advanced Studies and Cooperation based in Vatican City.
