Ronald McDonald House Charities Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Bridget Hoy (red shoes) celebrates the grand opening of the new Ronald McDonald House Charities facility in St. Louis.

On June 18, 2024, the new Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) facility in St. Louis celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the $34 million, 72-room facility on Chouteau Avenue. Lewis Rice member and RMHC Chair, Bridget Hoy, who has been a board member since 2016, spoke at the event. "Up until today we’ve had more than 30 families on the wait list, every day," Bridget said. "Today, when we open this house, we are hoping to eliminate that wait list.” The new facility will provide essential support and accommodations to families of children receiving medical care in the area.
