Ronald A. Norwood Accepts Award for Best Programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) as Board Chair of Harris-Stowe State University

Lewis Rice member Ronald A. Norwood, as Board Chair of Harris-Stowe State University, accepted a national award for the Best Programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) presented on August 2, 2019 by the HBCU Digest. HBCU Digest is one of the world's most widely-read blogs covering historically black colleges and universities (HBCU). The annual HBCU Awards recognize the "best in leadership, athletics, academics, and student achievement from black colleges throughout the country." Ron joins former University President Dr. Dwaun Warmack and Interim President Dr. Dwayne Smith, in accepting the national award.

Ron's wide-ranging legal practice includes representing national and regional banks, mortgage companies, and other financial institutions in a myriad of commercial and tort litigation matters. As Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee at Lewis Rice, Ron is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within the Firm as well as within the community.
