Pamela E. Barker Selected to Speak at Wisconsin Bar Association Annual Meeting & Conference

Lewis Rice member Pamela E. Barker will speak at the Wisconsin Bar Association Annual Meeting & Conference on June 19-21 in Green Bay. As the first woman President of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Pam was asked to speak to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the first woman admitted to practice law in Wisconsin. Pam was elected in 1993 as the first woman president of the State Bar of Wisconsin and paved the way for the many women proceeding her. Since Pam's leadership, seven more women have served as President of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Pam is a national leader of the bar in environmental law, and she is the past Chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy and Resources. Additionally, Pam is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, she serves in the House of Delegates for the ABA, and she is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). Her practice focuses on assisting clients with the environmental aspects of real estate and corporate transactions, and with regulatory compliance.
