Pamela E. Barker Named to Missouri’s 2024 POWER List in Environmental and Energy Law
November 21, 2024Lewis Rice member Pamela E. Barker was named to Missouri Lawyers Media's POWER List in Environmental and Energy Law for the third consecutive year. The POWER List is a regular feature examining the most powerful attorneys in environmental and energy law. Selections were made based on attorney interviews and records of verdicts and settlements. The list includes attorneys who handle class actions and other toxic tort defense matters regarding PFAS, nuclear waste exposure, and dangerous spills or leaks. Other attorneys on this list represent energy and utility companies in securing easements for power transmission lines, negotiating mergers and acquisitions, or defending against consumer and class action suits. Many of the attorneys, including Pam, held previous leadership roles in state government that guide their current work.

Pamela E. Barker serves as a Practice Group Leader for the Environmental Compliance practice group. With more than 25 years of experience practicing environmental law, Pam is a national leader of the bar in this area, and she is the past Chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy and Resources. Additionally, Pam is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary organization of lawyers, judges, and legal scholars whose careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. She also serves in the House of Delegates for the ABA, and she is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).
