Lewis Rice Volunteers at Harvesters – The Community Food Network
July 24, 2018On July 21, more than 30 attorneys, staff, and their families from the Kansas City office of Lewis Rice participated in their annual volunteer day at Harvesters – The Community Food Network. Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. It provides food and related household products to more than 620 not-for-profit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. This year the Lewis Rice volunteers assembled more than 15 pallets (approximately 542 boxes) of monthly food kits for the elderly in our area.
