Lewis Rice Hosts High School Students in Support of College Bound
October 23, 2015As part of the Firm's ongoing effort to increase the long term ethnic and socio-economic diversity of the St. Louis legal community, Lewis Rice is proud to support College Bound, a local organization helping students from under-resourced backgrounds succeed in school and their careers. Lewis Rice partner and Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chair, Ron Norwood, hosted Kamia Moore-Peoples, a student at Crossroads Preparatory School, and Maya Birton, who attends Grand Center Arts Academy, in a tour of local courts, Saint Louis University Law School, and the Firm. The students reported receiving invaluable insight and renewed energy to continue their pursuits as first generation college students and future lawyers. Lewis Rice is committed to supporting the efforts of organizations like College Bound and was delighted to host Kamia and Maya. To learn more about Lewis Rice's Proactive Outreach Program, click here.
