Larry E. Parres Elected to Meramec Valley Bank Board of Directors
March 2, 2015Larry E. Parres of the Business Finance, Restructuring, & Workouts Practice Group has been elected to the Meramec Valley Bank Board of Directors. Chartered in 1918, Meramec Valley Bank is an FDIC-insured commercial bank headquartered at 199 Clarkson Rd. in Ellisville, MO, with an additional branch in Valley Park.As a board member, Larry will help to build the Meramec Valley Bank brand, which stands for community involvement and proactive participation with growing small businesses.
Former President, Director, and Co-founder of the St. Louis Tri-State Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, Larry served on their national Board of Directors. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Bar Association. Frequently lecturing at continuing legal education seminars regarding bankruptcy and creditors' rights, he also speaks on attorney fee issues for organizations including the Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Turnaround Management Association.
