Jeremy P. Brummond Contributes to American Bar Association Best Seller
April 22, 2014Lewis Rice member Jeremy P. Brummond co-authored the chapter "Warranties in Construction Subcontracts" in the American Bar Association's best seller Construction Subcontracting: A Comprehensive Practical and Legal Guide. The book explores the legal and often complicated relationships in typical construction projects among contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers. Jeremy's chapter focused on the various warranty claims that may be asserted against a subcontractor when there is a defect in the subcontractor's work or materials. The chapter also summarized legal and practical issues relating to express and implied warranties under the Uniform Commercial Code and states' common law.

Jeremy practices in the areas of commercial litigation and construction law. He represents property owners, architects, engineers, and general and specialty contractors.
