Jeremy P. Brummond Appointed Chair of Division 9, Subcontractors and Suppliers, for the ABA’s Forum on Construction Law

Lewis Rice member Jeremy P. Brummond was appointed Chair of Division 9 (Subcontractors and Suppliers) for the American Bar Association's (ABA's) Forum on Construction Law. The Forum, divided into Divisions that are based on specific areas of construction law, strives to serve the construction industry through education and leadership. Division 9, Subcontractors and Suppliers, serves those who generally represent subcontractors, specialty trade contractors, and suppliers in the construction industry. The group meets several times each year at the three national meetings and holds monthly conference calls to stay up to date on hot topics. Jeremy will serve as Chair of Division 9 for two years.

Jeremy focuses his practice on engineering and construction, and his clients include property owners, engineers, general contractors, and specialty contractors. He counsels clients in contract negotiation and drafting, and he frequently represents such clients in construction-related litigation including cases involving claimed construction defects, delay and lost productivity, and mechanic's lien and payment bond claims.
