Fatima G. Khan Joins Missouri Bar’s Diversity Leaders’ Summit

As executive board member and treasurer of the South Asian Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (SABA), Lewis Rice attorney Fatima G. Khan participated in the Missouri Bar's Diversity Leaders' Summit held virtually on August 28, 2020. The Summit included a CLE program, "How to Develop Strong Policies, Protocols, & Procedures to Address Gender, Racial & Sexual Orientation Discrimination for Businesses, Schools, & Organizations" as well as an open forum for leaders to report on activities and programs given by their respective bar, explore ways to support and collaborate with one another, and discuss issues impacting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession and our communities. In her report, Fatima shared SABA’s initiative to launch a mentorship program to help young South Asian law students and recent graduates with career placement.

Fatima is a member of Lewis Rice's Immigration/Inmigración Practice Group. She has significant experience in immigration law, both stateside and consular processing, including securing immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for both employment-based and family-based immigration matters, naturalization, waivers of inadmissibility, asylum, and removal proceedings.
