Elizabeth J. Schlesinger Joins Estate Planning Department

The St. Louis office of Lewis Rice is pleased to announce that Elizabeth J. Schlesinger has joined the Estate Planning Department as an associate. Elizabeth was formerly associated with the law firm Bryan Cave LLP.

"Elizabeth is a fine addition to our department. She brings a breadth of experience and a fresh perspective. We are very pleased to have her join our team," said Marian "Bo" Mehan, Co-chairman of the Estate Planning Department.

Elizabeth is experienced in assisting clients with pre-death estate planning and wealth preservation as well as post-death trust and probate administration. She handles the drafting of estate planning documents including medical directives, durable powers of attorney, wills and "pour-over" wills, various trusts, and antenuptial agreements. Elizabeth drafts business succession documents, private loan and refinance documents, and basic real estate documents including private leases and various deeds. She also has experience establishing business entities such as LPs and LLCs, and overseeing the administration of irrevocable trusts, estates, and probate.
