David W. Sweeney Represents Developer in $4.1 million Mixed Use Development

Lewis Rice member David W. Sweeney is representing developer Simpson Closser in the development of a $4.1 million mixed use space in Soulard. The project is expected to break ground in the coming months, and it will include commercial space and residential units. David expects the project to open in spring 2019.

David focuses his practice on lobbying, governmental and finance matters; municipal and public law; government affairs; zoning, land use, tax increment financing, community improvement districts, and other development incentives. His experience ranges from drafting and overseeing implementation of legislation regarding tax increment financing, community improvement districts, special business districts, transportation development districts, and property tax abatements to representation of governmental entities in a variety of real estate development and finance matters.
