David W. Sweeney Named to Missouri’s POWER List for Lawyer-Lobbyists by Missouri Lawyers Media

Lewis Rice member David W. Sweeney was named to Missouri Lawyers Media's POWER List for Lawyers-Lobbyists. The POWER List is a regular feature examining the most powerful Missouri attorneys serving as registered lobbyists. Selections were made based on attorney interviews and review of Missouri Ethics Commission records. The 29 lawyer-lobbyists included on the list have made their mark through their many years and long hours at the Capitol, dedication to their clients, and getting new laws passed and killed.

David focuses on lobbying, governmental and finance matters; municipal and public law; government affairs; zoning, land use, tax increment financing, community improvement districts, and other development incentives. His experience ranges from drafting and overseeing implementation of legislation regarding tax increment financing, community improvement districts, special business districts, transportation development districts, and property tax abatements to representation of governmental entities in a variety of real estate development and finance matters.
