David W. Sweeney Joins Lewis Rice

Lewis Rice is pleased to announce that David W. Sweeney has joined our Firm as a member in our St. Louis office. As the former chief legal counsel for the St. Louis Board of Aldermen, David has extensive experience handling government-related legal matters. In his private practice, he focuses on lobbying, governmental and finance matters; municipal and public law; government affairs; zoning, land use, tax increment financing, community improvement districts, and other development incentives.

"David's significant government experience coupled with his relationships with developers, businesses, government officials, lobbyists, and media representatives within the City of St. Louis will help to further facilitate the expansion of our Government Solutions & Administrative Law Practice Group," said Corporate Department Chairman John Riffle. "We are excited to welcome David to the Firm by providing a strong platform for his sustained success."
