Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Group Joins International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)

Lewis Rice has joined the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), a premier global information privacy community, as a corporate member.

Founded in 2000, the IAPP is dedicated to supporting the global privacy professional community by providing educational services, information privacy certifications, networking opportunities, and forums for professionals and thought leaders to discuss and debate issues related to privacy policy and practice.

"Unfortunately, we live in a world today where our digital information is vulnerable to theft. Helping our clients mitigate that risk and protect their data is our number one priority," said Billee McAuliffe, a member of Lewis Rice's Cyber Security & Data Privacy Group. "Membership to the IAPP will be a tremendous resource for our group, allowing us access to the world's largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community."

The attorneys in our Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Group advise clients on compliance and best practices for data management and incident preparedness, providing critical legal counsel in the immediate aftermath of cyber incidents. Our attorneys also design and implement privacy and security programs to enable organizations to comply with an increasingly complex global regulatory environment.
