Carleen B. Griffith Named to Lawyers of Color’s 2014 Hot List

Commercial litigation associate Carleen B. Griffith has been named to Lawyers of Color's Second Annual Hot List, which recognizes early- to mid-career minority attorneys working as in-house counsel, government attorneys, and law firm associates and partners. Honorees will be profiled in Lawyers of Color's Hot List 2014 Issue. The Midwest Region honorees will also be guests at a reception hosted by Quarles & Brady on July 14th.

Carleen has experience in both commercial and civil litigation. During law school, she worked as a law clerk in the legal department of UniGroup Inc., gaining experience in transportation law, trademarks, and contract review. She has also earned experience in various aspects of conflicts, from her work at McKenna Long and Aldridge as well as at Akin Gump, prior to joining Lewis Rice.

The honorees were chosen by a selection committee after months of reviewing nominations and researching legal publications and blogs to identify the most promising candidates. The selection committee also made editorial picks of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments, especially those active in legal pipeline initiatives.

Lawyers of Color has been recognized by the American Bar Association, National Black Law Students Association, and National Association of Black Journalists for providing excellent research, career development tools, and brand marketing opportunities to their clients.
