Bough is running for the 6th District at-large City Council in the June 18, 2019 election. The Kansas City Star gave Andrea its stamp of approval when it endorsed her based on her impressive resume, experience in land use and development law, and her commitment to Kansas City's neighborhoods.

Andrea's experience in economic development, land use, planning, zoning, and subdivision regulations allows her to represent clients on complex redevelopment projects at the state and local levels. She has appeared before city councils, planning commissions, zoning boards, and other agencies in Missouri and Kansas and has previously served as special counsel for zoning boards and planning commissions for Kansas municipalities.
