Michael R. Thiessen and Lisa A. Veselich Join Lewis Rice
July 21, 2014The law firm of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, L.C. is pleased to announce that Michael R. Thiessen and Lisa A. Veselich have joined the Firm as members. Both Michael and Lisa have extensive backgrounds in estate planning and tax matters and practiced with Husch Blackwell prior to joining Lewis Rice.

Michael provides his estate planning clients with thoughtful counsel and applies advanced techniques to matters involving family-owned businesses and transition of ownership; multi-generational planning; and charitable trusts. He also has particular knowledge of estate and trust income taxation as well as issues facing tax-exempt organizations. Michael is a member of the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City and a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
Lisa concentrates her practice on estate and gift tax planning. She advises her clients on generation-skipping transfer tax and multi-generational planning as well as charitable gift planning. She is also experienced in probate and trust administration matters and the drafting of complex estate plans. Lisa is a member of the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City, and The Best Lawyers in America named her the Kansas City Trusts and Estates "Lawyer of the Year" for 2013.
