Benjamin A. Lipman Discusses Media Law on FM 88.1 KDHX

The program addressed the increasing legal issues of covering the news, including controversial matters such as WikiLeaks and Edward Snowden. Ben, Treasurer and Member of the Board of the Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis, discussed topics such as the current state of investigative journalism, the rising competition presented by blogs, and how hardcore journalism will be funded in the future. Ben focuses his practice on media law, involving all aspects of representing the press. Clients include newspapers, television stations, radio, cable, new media, book and music publishers, musicians, and writers. He also practices as a commercial litigator and a commercial real estate attorney representing clients in St. Louis, the region, and throughout the United States. Additionally, Ben is an adjunct professor of law, teaching media litigation at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
