Mark D. Eisemann and Alexandra L. Liebetrau Co-Wrote an Article in The Practical Real Estate Lawyer

Lewis Rice member Mark D. Eisemann and associate Alexandra L. Liebetrau out of the Kansas City office co-wrote an article in the May 2019 edition of The Practical Real Estate Lawyer. The article serves to inform sellers about Kansas laws on liquidated damages clauses in commercial real estate contracts.

Mark's practice encompasses all aspects of real estate development, with an emphasis in theater, retail, office, and medical office leasing for both landlords and tenants. Mark is familiar with the competing interests of developers, lenders, and occupants in mixed use urban and suburban developments, lifestyle/entertainment centers, regional malls, power centers, and neighborhood centers.

Alex negotiates and drafts all types of office and retail space commercial leases. She represents both tenants and landlords in matters including the sale and purchase of commercial real estate, including negotiation of purchase and sale agreements and review of environmental reports, title policies, and surveys. Alex represents both lenders and borrowers on billions of dollars of real estate loans on all types of commercial property.
