Mentor
Kirk perpetually seeks to disseminate his breadth of knowledge of intellectual property law not only to his clients, but to his community as well. He regularly attends local startup events to make himself available as a resource for local entrepreneurs and speaks to various audiences, both locally and nationally, on an array of topical IP subjects. Kirk also publishes articles and books relating to IP practice and the understanding of intellectual property by non-lawyers. Additionally, Kirk is an active mentor for Gateway Volunteer Mentor Service (GVMS), an entrepreneur support group.
Gateway Volunteer Mentor Service
GVMS supports entrepreneurs in the St. Louis area by facilitating a successful environment to help them move forward with their company. As a mentor, Kirk joins with a dedicated team assigned to a particular entrepreneur to strengthen their venture and expedite their growth. Entrepreneurs can take advantage of Kirk's broad understanding of intellectual property law and of the resources within the St. Louis entrepreneurial network.
