Apollo Carey and Jerina D. Phillips Present at BAMSL’s Bench & Bar Conference
June 2, 2022On Thursday, June 2, 2022, Lewis Rice members Apollo Carey and Jerina D. Phillips along with Matthew Reh, partner and Litigation and Practice Group Leader at Armstrong Teasdale, presented at BAMSL's Bench and Bar conference. The three attorneys presented "Everything You Didn't Learn in Law School About Making Partner at Your Law Firm" and was moderated by Sarah Bardol, associate at Armstrong Teasdale. This year's conference featured more than 50 judges in attendance, a panel discussion with the Supreme Court of Missouri as well as a panel with judges from the Eastern District of Missouri, and keynote speaker Anthony Ray Hinton, a man imprisoned for 30 years for a murder he did not commit.

Apollo has been practicing corporate, transactional, and regulatory law for more than a decade and currently serves as the City Attorney for Ferguson, Missouri, and as outside counsel for the Junior College District of St. Louis (St. Louis Community College).
