January 17, 2019St. Louis Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers, St. Louis Section of the IEEE

Engineers are fundamentally inventors every day. Many times, the sweat and financial toils of both the employer and employee should be protected in terms of a patent. Kirk A. Damman, a patent attorney at Lewis Rice, will shed insight and helpful information for members to use in protecting intellectual property both in the United States and internationally. Topics to be discussed include he general process of preparing for invention disclosure; identifying a skilled attorney for one's particular technology; and interfacing with that attorney. Earn 1 PDH for this program.
