Lobbyist David W. Sweeney’s Client Selected as Provider for Police Body Cameras, Could be Implemented by end of July

In March 2020, Lewis Rice member and registered lobbyist David W. Sweeney's client Utility Associates was unanimously selected by a St. Louis RFP committee to provide body cameras for police officers. On June 17, 2020 the St Louis Board of Estimate and Apportionment (E&A), which consists of the Mayor, Comptroller and President of the Board of Aldermen, unanimously approved the five year contract. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the first batch of 800 cameras could be in use by the end of July.
