The Lewis Rice Business Services Practice Group exists to support in-house legal departments strained by attorney departures, increasing or variable internal workloads, budget constraints, and a host of other factors that create backlogs, long turnaround times, gaps in expertise, and myriad other frustrations. We work with clients to develop flexible and cost-effective legal solutions to provide the necessary experience and corporate legal support to businesses that need to address short- and long-term workflow challenges. Our attorneys work closely with business services clients to develop knowledge of those clients' internal procedures and infrastructure so that Lewis Rice can seamlessly step in and supplement the in-house departments when and to the extent needed.
Our Services
Lewis Rice supports our clients' legal departments with contracting and procurement needs by using our breadth and depth of experience in various fields. We work with our clients' in-house attorneys and business teams to negotiate contracts directly with vendors, develop and refine effective scopes of work, and review both mission-critical and routine agreements in a range of industries. Our attorneys have extensive experience providing direct overflow service on issues including technology licensing, cybersecurity and data privacy, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and construction, advertising and social media, and general business and corporate law.
