  • Represent purchasers nationwide, such as Leggett & Platt, Inc. and Reuters America, Inc., in commercial and industrial property acquisitions in the context of bankruptcy-asset sales ranging in size from $5 million to $46 million
  • Represent the University of Missouri in connection with a property exchange and the public/private redevelopment of one property into an approximately 230,000 square foot, mixed-use apartment, retail, and office building and the other property into the headquarters of a charitable organization

  • Represent Breckenridge Material Company in the acquisition of more than 20 locations throughout the St. Louis region
  • Represented the University of Missouri in its acquisition and construction of a 245-unit residence hall located at Hospital Hill in Kansas City; the transaction, which closed in September 2013, was fast-tracked for the anticipated completion of the $30,000,000 building before the fall 2014 semester began for UMKC students
  • Represent a distribution company in the leasing and development of five 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse/distribution facilities throughout the United States
  • Represent Westfield, LLC and other national and regional developers with respect to their negotiations with movie theater operators

  • Represented a national charcoal manufacturer and a fireplace log company in the purchase of a log and kiln plant in southwest Missouri and a construction contract for plant expansion
  • Represent a developer in obtaining TIF and community improvement district (CID) incentives for Summit Place, a 43-acre retail shopping center that will consist of approximately 355,000 square feet when fully developed
  • Represent Fred Weber, Inc. in connection with the development of underground limestone mines in Illinois and Missouri and related production mining
