Charles F. Miller Inducted to 2015 Midwest Real Estate Magazine Hall of Fame
February 19, 2016The Kansas City law office of Lewis Rice is proud to announce the induction of Charles Miller, Department Chair and Executive Committee Member, to the 2015 Midwest Real Estate Magazine Hall of Fame. This annual award is given to the most influential commercial real estate professionals from across the Midwest. This year the magazine reviewed over 500 nominations and selected the most qualified inductees for the special edition.
Charlie has been an integral part of the Lewis Rice Real Estate Department for over three decades. The varied nature of his real estate clients, in the Midwest and throughout the country, has provided him the opportunity to work on a wide spectrum of real estate projects and issues. Charlie has dedicated his career to helping clients achieve their goals by working aggressively in a collaborative manner to solve problems. When dealing with the issues presented in real estate projects, he draws on experience acquired from working with attorneys, developers, lenders, investment bankers, city officials, and other professionals throughout the country and particularly in the greater Kansas City area.
Charlie provides conventional real estate legal services as well as structuring and obtaining government approvals on a variety of development incentives and financing including tax increment financing, bonds, tax abatement, state supplemental tax increment financing, community improvement districts, transportation development districts, other assessment districts and tax credits.
Six other individuals from the Kansas City area were also inducted to the Hall of Fame: Keith Copaken, Copaken Brooks; David Hinchman, CBRE; Estel Hipp, Block Real Estate Services; Michael Mayer, Cushman & Wakefield; Dr. Troy Nash, Newmark Grubb Zimmer; Jim Unruh, Colliers International.
