We have represented landlords and tenants, both regionally and nationally, in our leasing practice, including developers and occupants of regional shopping malls, theatres, power centers, strip centers, mixed use projects, office buildings, medical office buildings and industrial buildings. We have tailored form leases to meet our clients’ needs, and have strived to negotiate well written leases that reduce the potential for disagreements. We understand the issues that tend to be of primary importance in retail, theatre, office, medical office or industrial leasing, and are sensitive to the bargaining power that a tenant anchoring a retail or office development brings to a transaction. We have knowledge of the intricacies of ground leases and subleases, and of ancillary lease documents such as letters of intent, guaranties, subordination, non-disturbance and attornment agreements, estoppels certificates, and work letters. We strive to keep the often complex lease negotiations moving forward so that a lease can be signed as soon as possible.
