Trust & Estate Litigation

Find an Attorney Find A Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney

A specialized group of our attorneys combine their experience and extensive knowledge in the litigation, trust and estate and real estate practice areas to form our trust & estate/real estate litigation group.

Trust & Estates Disputes

Estate planning attorneys provide invaluable insight into state law regarding wills, trusts, the probate process and non-probate transfers, and in-depth knowledge of the federal gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax issues raised in trust and estate disputes. Litigators bring their experience and advocacy skills to guide our clients though all aspects of trust and estate litigation from discovery to resolution by trial or settlement and appeal, if necessary.

We have litigated a wide variety of matters in the trust and estate area including trust and will contests, claims for tortious interference with inheritance or expectancies, trust and will constructions, trust reformations, wrongful death claims against estates and actions against Trustees for breach of fiduciary duties.

Real Estate Disputes

Real estate attorneys provide practical solutions to a full range of legal issues facing commercial, corporate and individual property owners, developers, landlords and tenants, including lease, eminent domain, tax increment financing, and title disputes. Litigators represent and serve our clients’ needs in all types of real estate litigation including rent and possession, unlawful detainer and other leasehold disputes, condemnation actions (from landowner, tenant and condemning authority perspectives), as well as in actions to determine title including quiet title, partition, boundary disputes and to determine easement and access rights.
