Two New Associates Join Kansas City Office
September 13, 2013The Kansas City office of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, L.C. is pleased to announce that Bret R. Kassen and Matthew Mentzer have joined the firm as associates.
Bret focuses his practice on commercial litigation. With experience representing businesses, individuals, financial institutions, and governmental entities, Bret helps clients resolve disputes in state and federal court through litigation, mediation, and negotiation.
Matthew practices in the areas of tax law and estate planning and probate. As a certified public accountant, he is particularly knowledgeable in federal and state tax return preparation, tax basis calculations and related studies, and federal and state implications for client transactions and projects. In his estate planning practice, Matthew routinely drafts relevant documents for high-net-worth individuals and succession planning for closely held businesses.
