Jeremy P. Brummond Speaks at National Business Institute and American Bar Association Events

Jeremy P. Brummond recently spoke at the National Business Institute's (NBI's) seminar in Clayton, MO and the American Bar Association's (ABA's) Forum on the Construction Industry's fall meeting in Washington, DC. For the NBI seminar Construction Defect Litigation: From A-Z, Jeremy authored and presented information focused on ethical problems encountered by attorneys in defect cases, recent developments in Missouri construction defect litigation, and recent construction defect cases. He then participated in a four-person panel for the ABA Forum to provide information regarding common issues arising in multi-party construction arbitrations. Jeremy covered topics such as the reach of arbitration provisions on non-parties, whether non-signatories to arbitration provisions can enforce the same, and the pros and cons of inviting certain parties to the arbitration.

Jeremy focuses his practice on engineering and construction law, representing clients including property owners, engineers, general contractors, and specialty contractors. As an engaged attorney in his field, he frequently writes and presents on construction law topics. Jeremy also handles a variety of commercial litigation matters.
