Derick C. Albers' practice spans a variety of areas including complex commercial litigation, insurance litigation (including coverage disputes), class actions, tax litigation, trust and estate litigation, shareholder disputes, Civil RICO, municipal law, banking litigation, and securities litigation. Working with a team of attorneys on a case arising from a fraudulent leasing scheme, he secured a record-setting $60 million verdict on behalf of a nonprofit health clinic. Derick also advises companies on entity structure and formation issues, shareholder rights, taxation, and other issues.

A native of Nebraska, Derick is a member of both the Missouri and Illinois bars. While at Washington University School of Law, he served as an editor on the Law Review and participated in a variety of activities, including moot court and the criminal justice clinic. Derick is a member of the Firm's Recruiting Committee. He was selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Rising Stars® 2014-2016.
