Biography

Claire O'Brien practices in the Litigation Department of Lewis Rice. She has extensive experience with defending products liability, medical malpractice, general negligence, toxic tort, and contract dispute cases. At Lewis Rice, Claire has continued her broad litigation practice, adding labor and employment defense to her repertoire. Claire serves an array of clients, including claims managers, business owners, medical professionals, general counsel, and individuals, and brings the same attention to her clients’ work as she does to her own. Claire is a naturally inquisitive “people person,” and these qualities help her anticipate problems that may arise in litigation and effectively communicate these issues with her clients. In every matter she works on, Claire is always looking toward finding the most efficient and cost-effective path to resolution, whether that be through a court room, mediation, or informal negotiation with opposing counsel.
