Biography

As a leader of the Real Estate Practice Group who also serves on Lewis Rice’s Management Committee, Apollo Carey is a valued member of the firm. He uses almost two decades of real estate law experience and his background as a commercial real estate appraiser to counsel clients on matters such as taxation, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and contract negotiations.

Apollo’s corporate practice focuses on corporate governance, shareholder disputes, corporate strategy, strategic transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He also provides guidance on executive compensation arrangements, buyouts and severance packages, and structuring key employee and ownership compensation to ensure ERISA compliance. Apollo draws on his experience as a litigator when negotiating on his clients’ behalf, and he employs his master of laws in taxation to advise them on the tax implications of both their business and real estate transactions.
